Thames Estuary Maunsell Forts: Part 3 - Red Sands Army Fort.

Last on the trip was the more famous of the Maunsell Forts - the Red Sands. There is a project in place to protect and restore these forts & they are gaining increased attention in the media. Hopefully in the future there will be a chance to go up into them! Taking pictures that are well known always presents a challenge, as I want mine to compete with the best! The changeable weather helped create a set of photos that whilst inconsistent have a lot of variety in tone. This lead me to create a version in Photoshop adding the rain of a storm - I rather like this version too!
