RAE Pigeontown

2020 (United Kingdom)

After a nasty encounter with Covid, I wanted to get fit again & go for an explore. I normally research overseas locations but luckily AdamX, a photographer I've admired for a long time, got in touch and suggested a place to go & explore. He has been doing this a lot longer than me & has done some amazing locations - I do suggest checking his website: https://adamxphotos.com/

This place was a research site for the RAE (Royal Aircraft Establishment). The jewel in the centre was the control room, which due to a locked door and & lot of darkness was particularly tricky to locate. We shared the place with a lot of pigeons, hence the name.
