Power Plant P

This impressive turbine hall is a power station located by the coast & powering a nearby steel mill. It was definitely a place to tread extra carefully as with the seaside air, it is decaying at a rapid rate. Some of the floor is giving way in places & the whole place feels less than secure.

The skylights have a turquoise tint which adds an intensity to the green/blue colours of the materials inside. I've not seen such colourful industry before - it's very special. It is great fun to shoot here as it is not only incredibly wide but also very tall, so there's the chance to shoot some amazing panoramic views.
