Convent of the Kind

Sometimes timing is key. We had a failed mission at another location but that meant we arrived outside this convent at exactly the right time to meet the local priest by chance, who was locking up his beautiful small church. With the convent nearby not obviously accessible & with our desire to be as respectful as possible, the priest took us into the abandoned convent & then kept us company! That was until he had to leave and gave us the trust to remain in the building until we were finished. It was a wonderfully humbling experience.

And the building itself, whilst small, was truly gorgeous - especially when bathed in that special last light of the day. I titled this location after the kindness shown by the priest.
