Blue Wonder

Nothing can prepare you - seeing this beast for the first time is utterly mind blowing. A factory on wheels, closing in on 4000 tons of weight, 171 meters long & 50 meters high. Abandoned in 2002, this coal mining machine once served as a bucket excavator. The size is like nothing I've ever witnessed.

It was a beautiful day & perfect for a little bit of climbing too! It's incredible how small you feel against this machine. Resting in a field surrounded by nature - it's the perfect fusion to see man vs earth & how incredible both can be.
