Kraftwerk P (Part 1)

Part 1: The Power Station
This epic power station in former East Germany was so big, I've had to split the pictures into two sections! First up is the power controls within the station and also the stunning control room. We spent nearly an entire day exploring this huge complex. Built in the 1930's and most recently used to host local music events (we found a working kitchen bizarrely!).

The control room is the jewel in the crown of this gigantic building. In beautiful condition, we were lucky enough to enter as a beautiful tone of light hit the room via the stunning skylight. Just one the other side was another control room plus a huge turbine hall. Quite an incredible place.
