Jüterbog, Altes Lager (Part 1)

40 miles South of Berlin is the town of Jüterbog, with abandoned buildings all over the area. In one part of the town is Altes Lager, home to one of the biggest military complexes in Germany. It was a former aviation school & then home to the Soviets until 1992. The set of buildings are huge & grand - the main feature being a massive curved structure wrapped around a courtyard facing the rest of the buildings. In this first set of photos, I've focused on that building in particular. I had wanted to visit for a long time & the day but on the day, we were faced with apocalyptic rain. But that didn't stop us!
