Badeschloss

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder... the security guard letting me into the hotels told me there was nothing to see in Badeschloss & endeavored to discourage me going in. But I had seen pictures & was hoping that there was still a grand piano in the dining room. Most of the building was stripped out for the renovations - but the piano was still there, which was a great result.

The 'bathing palace' is a very cubic building dating back to 1794 & features a spa area, including a massage table. The higher up you go, the more interior scaffolding is holding the place up. I took a photo of the exterior of the former Old Post Hotel too, although the security guard refused to let me take a look inside. Maybe it has two pianos!
