Robin Hudson
Thank you for taking a look at my website & I hope you enjoy the photos. To get the most out of the galleries, I recommend viewing them on full screen for the details!

I'm based in London & enjoy taking pictures in my spare time. In the real world, I work as a theatrical agent & have also made a number of short films. Since getting my first Sony camera (A77), I had tried different sorts of photography but always with a firm interest in architecture. This lead me to Urbex.

Urbex (Urban Exploration) involves the discovery of lost places (abandoned buildings) & mapping a little bit of history with pictures & often getting an adventure as part of the deal, only ever entering buildings if there is an open way to do so. It's vital that everything is done with the upmost respect.
It has opened up a world of amazing experiences in many different countries & has presented the chance to see unique places and architecture.

My photographic style has been highly influenced by the locations I visit. My aim is to take the viewer inside the building and experience the atmosphere for themselves through my pictures. I don't change colours or tones as I want a realistic interpretation of the places. However, I don't shoot in a journalistic style - I aim to pull all the details and wonder from the locations & present them artistically.

I hope you enjoy being taken on the journey.
